Who will you share my information with?

Whenever you talk to us at Meri Trustline, it is confidential. This means that we will not tell anyone outside of Meri Trustline. But sometimes we will need to tell someone.

This would be if:

  • you ask us to
  • we believe your life or someone else’s life is in danger;
  • you’re being hurt by someone in a position of trust who has access to other children
  • we’re told we have to by law
  • if you want to know more about our privacy policy email us on info@ratifoundation.org
How often can I call?

You can call how many times you want. If we receive calls for other issues and reasons that are other than those stated above, we will try and help you with support from other places.

What if I cannot reach you and it is an emergency?

We are a helpline but we are not an emergency number. If you are in an emergency situation, please reach out to emergency services like the police (100) & Childline (1098).

What should I do if the phone doesn’t connect?

We may be speaking to someone else and at such times it can be difficult to connect. Please take a moment to pause and try again. We will call back when we see the missed call. You may also consider leaving a whatsapp message or sms or email and we will get back to you.
